7-Year-Old Jack Hoffman Scores Touchdown in Nebraska Spring Game
On Saturday afternoon, 7-year-old Jack Hoffman’s dream came true. Hoffman, who is battling brain cancer and a diehard Nebraska fan, was given the opportunity to suit up for his favorite team. In what was an awesome moment, Jack Hoffman took a hand-off from starting quarterback Taylor Martinez and took it to the house for a 69-yard score on the spring game’s final play. The entire team cheered and celebrated with Hoffman once he got into the endzone, lifting him up on their shoulders and carrying him off the field. One of the most amazing moments in sports this year. This is what makes sports truly great.
